Printmakers and nostalgia @ Bite Studio

Nostalgia. Old cars, roses, memories and distortions provide the jumping off point for new work from Bite Studio members Shawn Demarest, Charlene Happel, and Matthew Courtway. Visit the studio from 6-10pm First Friday night to see a variety of approaches to printmaking. Charlene combines photo transfer with monotype, Matthew screenprints over monotypes, and Shawn is experimenting with multi-plate, color etchings.

Shawn Demarest is also participating in Portland Open Studios. Come and see printmaking demos over two weekends – Oct 10,11 and 18,19 – 10pm-5pm.
