Elizabeth Fleming
“Life is a Series of Small Moments”
This series is an ongoing body of work documenting the artist’s two small daughters as they grow older. It is an exploration of intimacy and disclosure, vulnerability and awe, and the bittersweet knowledge that everything is impermanent.

She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and the School of Visual Arts in New York City, earning both her BFA and MFA in photography with honors. She has shown widely throughout the US; recent exhibitions include group shows at Hous Projects in New York City, Randall Scott Gallery in Brooklyn, and Photo LA. She received an Honorable Mention in Blurb’s 2009 Photography.Book.Now competition, as well as third place in CENTER Santa Fe’s Singular Image competition and an Artists’ ShowCase Award from The Center for Fine Art Photography. She lives in Maplewood, NJ with her husband and two young daughters. www.elizabethfleming.com.
